Version 3.5 of our Windows VPN client has been released. Most important changes:
- the DNS leak prevention method has been redesigned (for OpenVPN connections). There is no need to use the "Disable DNS on physical NIC" on Windows 10 anymore. Also, there are no changes of DNS to the physical network interfaces anymore. This change should also improves connection/disconnection times and fix some issues with DNS restoration after disconnect.
- added option to enforce the use of an alternative API server to get the server list for users in China.
- improved compatibility for Windows XP. If you are using Win XP, start the software from the data\ subfolder, launching the vpnac.exe binary and not the vpnac-launcher.exe from the main folder.
- updated openvpn binaries to the latest version.
- added option "Minimize on close".
- added option "Start minimized".
- bug fixes and other internal API changes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: in a few days we will release an installable version of the software.
