We updated our VPN Client Software for Windows to version 1.1

Changelog

• Added auto-reconnect feature for OpenVPN using persistent caching of server's IP, so it should work even if the DNS server is unreachable - a common problem with OpenVPN GUI and other 3rd party clients
• We created an IP Leak Protection Script (also known as VPN Kill Switch) and included it in the .zip file. Please read the how-to as it requires some medium networking skills or a good understanding of its capabilities to be effective. More info on the script: here as well as the archive's README file
• Changed the local logging period in the log.txt file to 1 session only

Update instructions

To update the software, simply download it here and replace the the .exe file in the folder where you previously unzipped our client software. Or just run it from a new folder, eventually delete the old one.

Other notes

The persistent caching of remote VPN server's IP is enabled for as long as the software is running. So we recommend to restart it from time to time, in order to get the new IP addresses - just in case we may change them or in case you face problems connecting to some servers.
