For accuracy, we recommend to use multi-threading downloads. Torrent downloads are recommended for this purpose. 

1. uTorrent, despite being very popular, is pretty bad when it comes to speed over VPN. Try qBitorrent instead. 
2. For browser-based speed testing, speedof.me and testmy.net are very innacurate, fast.com is not relevant. Use speedtest.net and CacheFly
3. if you are using Linux/macOS, use wget or curl in terminal with some speed test file, such as:
wget -O /dev/null http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test 
curl http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test > /dev/null

axel is also a good tool to use in Linux terminal. 

Please note that your local/domestic speed can be a lot different than what you should expect when you connect to other country, especially other continent.
